I have been with Spokane Cardiology since 1986. [...] This last appointment with Dr. Wales was quite an experience. When he came into the office it was as though he had never seen me before, which I have been to his office two or three times or more since I decide to move my care to Lewiston to where I did not have to make the 200 miles round trip to Spokane. When he entered the office it was as though he was befuddled. He wanted to know where I was from and I replied Lewiston, He said "wheres that", and what the population. I said about 30,000, He said oh, I thought you said "Wilson" He fumbled through the folder, which was not very much paper work, listened to my heart front and back. I had been in to the office three weeks prior for a Ultra Sound on the Carotid arteries. This was my yearly check up, and every two years they do a Ultra Sound on the Carotid arteries, which was done this year. He did not address this issue until I asked him what the results were of the Carotid artery Ultra Sound. Oh, fumble, fumble, well it says here that previously you had a slight built up in the right Carotid artery, then he said results from another year, and then he says or yes this year it is just plac, plac and plac. I asked him what my lipid test showed previously and he asked if I was on Lipitor and I said yes and he said to be sure to be taking a probiotic. He listened to my pulse in my feet, and stated we don't do hypertension or kidney care here. I never brought that up. Anyway he was back out of the office and the whole episode took less than ten minutes. I told my wife on the way out that it was one of the weirdest visits that I had ever experienced in a Doctor's office. I felt like we could not have been brushed out of the office quick enough. My preference is that I be put back on Dr. [...]'s patient list and that I be contacted yearly for my annual appointment. I have no desire to see Dr. Wales again.

THE AREA WHERE THE DESK RECEPTIONIST/SECRETARY is not conducive to privacy. She does a great job and is upbeat and pleasant but it is not conducive to privacy. The rooms I was seen as a patient resembles more a closet hall than a examining room. Despite the cramped place the staff and Doctor seem to move and operate effortlessly through it all. If my observation seems harsh I want be honest and state it does influence the perception I had of the place.

This office accomplished more in one visit than my previous provider's office did in the past year!!! Results were called to me immediately, less than 2 hours after I left the office. Very thorough and very kind staff. I will recommend them to anyone/everyone who needs their services.

This was my first visit with Dr. Wales as my new cardiologist. I hope he's a good Doctor because he has no warmth or empathy. He made me feel like a number, rather than a patient.

being from out of state I was amazed how quickly I was scheduled to see a specialist who went above and beyond; along with h8s staff to get me into another specialist in Spokane. [...] the receptionist was outstanding as werected the nurses. very caring. Thank you all. you made a rather scarey situation no so scarey.
