PATIENT RATINGS AND COMMENTS

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey.Responses are measured on a 10 - point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5 - point scale in order to display results in a 5 - star rating.Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

My primary care provider finally got the referral I needed. Although I asked twice about that referral from Dr. Work I never heard from the Doctors office to which I was being referred.

Things got confused when I thought doctor had approved my getting cataract surgery before I get my ablation surgery later this month. Now I feel like I'm on hold because my eye surgery was cancelled when they didn't like what my heart was doing. I understand doing the least thing first but now ive wasted 3 months being incapacitated while waiting for what should have been done first.

Since my accident, I changed Cardiologists to Dr. Wark. He has been exceptional in helping me. He cannot help me with the other related conditions as he only performed the heart procedure (ablation) and the medical care after the procedure. I have issues with both A-fib and an abnormal heart beat from time to time. I believe this provider is sensitive to my needs.

I felt that Dr wark is nice person but doesn't listen to the patient very well. the rule out provess is taking a long time. i have been extremely symptomatic and miserable with chest pain everyday and it takes a month between each rule out test for me to see him again.

I requested blood work before meeting this provider for the first time(we'd moved). That did not happen, but blood work was done at the conclusion, and I had not been told to fast. I'm concerned about my triglyceride level. Dr. Wark was recommended by my previous cardiologist, Dr. [...]

When my prescription drug plan was no longer going to provide me with the drug [...], Dr Wark prescribed [...] which was covered. I feel that not enough effort was made to continue to provide me with [...], which according to my research is the better drug. This issue was resolved by my primary care provider, Dr [...], who made sure that [...] was continued.

I had a cardiac catheterization. Following the procedure, the doctor contacted my wife in the waiting room and told her that everything went well. Even though the news was good, she was surprised the physician told her in front of others. And, because the discussion occurred in the waiting room, my wife was unable to ask any questions. Is there not a private room/area to discuss outcomes?

seemed to not be aware of my congestive heart failure. felt as if there were zero concern over my case. would not expound on answers or follow up questions. almost seemed a burden for him to bother to see me. no one asked about current pain level, which is bad. will be finding a new cardiologist [...]
