There are many reasons volunteers decide to join the Providence team. Many of our volunteers are looking for new opportunities and experiences in the community. Others are planning for their future in the healthcare industry. ALL of our volunteers have one common goal – they are here to give back to their community by helping others. Volunteers are valued and appreciated for their dedication and commitment. It is this dedication that makes Providence Regional a great hospital. In 2007, more than 900 individuals in over 80 departments, contributed more than 100,000 hours of service at the Colby, Pacific, and Broadway campuses, the Healthcare Clinic, the Providence Physicians Clinics and Camp Prov. We're always looking for responsible volunteers who can work collaboratively with staff, physicians and other volunteers to make a difference in our patients' healthcare experience. As a Patient and Family Advisor you'll: Provide a patient and family perspective for hospital care Create a comfortable, welcoming and safe place to heal Work with hospital leaders to shape positive changes Review and improve educational materials and forms Participate in developing policies/procedures

The Volunteer Services Department strives to meet the needs of volunteers, employees, visitors and guests.
