The Providence General Foundation has a variety of funds that you can support based on your own personal areas of interest. Contributions can come into the Providence General Foundation in two ways. Support given for a specific purpose is restricted in its use and can only be used for the donor’s intended purpose. Gifts given for general use are unrestricted, and can be directed to the area of greatest need. How unrestricted funds are allocated is determined by the Providence General Foundation with thoughtful consideration and in coordination with hospital administration. Most funding supports programs and services that cannot be accommodated in the hospital’s budget and that would not be possible without the private support of generous donors like you.
