Medical Education Department Support

When you plan a Cat I or Cat II program, the Department of Medical Education can offer support in a number of ways:

• booking a room for the meeting  
• preparing flyers  
• helping to obtain pharmaceutical support with pre selected speakers (you pick the topic only in this situation) and/or dollar support for food  
• helping you to fill out the Cat I application/worksheet (PDF)  
• taking the idea or topic to the Medical Education Advisory Committee if it is more than a 1 hour Cat 1  
• Honoraria are available for local speakers (from the portion of your med staff dues which support local medical education)
