Musculoskeletal Institute

Providence Everett Medical Center (PEMC) Musculoskeletal Institute is the largest provider of services in Northwest Washington serving communities from North King County to Canada. Our patient population ranges from children to the elderly.

Our team includes the following:

  • Board-certified orthopedic surgeons
  • Board-certified neurosurgeons
  • Board-certified physiatrists (physician specializing in physical and restorative medicine)
  • Board-certified podiatrists
  • Rehabilitation nurses
  • Physical therapists
  • Occupational therapists
  • Recreational therapists
  • Social workers
  • Pharmacists
  • Dietitians
  • Chaplains

The patient is the center of this treatment team.  Along with the patient, the family is actively involved in the process of setting goals for treatment.  Our patients most commonly require rehabilitation to regain full mobility after procedures and medical therapy for joint, bone, and connective tissue disease.  To meet the needs of our patients, our nursing care addresses the whole person with special emphasis on each patient’s physical and emotional needs.  We advocate for our patients and their families by developing a knowledge of each individual’s specific health needs.
