Hospitalist Team

The Providence Regional Medical Center Everett Hospitalist Team is a group of hospital based physicians who work closely with primary care physicians and the hospital to ensure consistent and comprehensive care.  They remain in close contact with the primary care physician throughout the patient's time in the hospital, and coordinate care with them by sharing medical history, current treatments and providing recommendations.

When the patient is discharged, the Providence Regional Medical Center Everett Hospitalist Team will discuss with the primary care physician their plans and recommendations for continued care, and will provide a written report of the patient's hospitalization.  When specialty care is required, the Hospitalist Team will make arrangements for specialty consultations.
