Dr. Diaz completed his residency in Internal Medicine and also served as Chief Medical Resident at the University of Utah. He later completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington. Areas of training include General Infectious Diseases, Solid Organ Transplant Infectious Diseases, Bone Marrow Transplant Infectious Diseases, and HIV Medicine at the Madison Clinic of Harborview Medical Center.
Because Infectious Diseases are amongst the most complex and difficult disorders to treat, Dr. Diaz strives to provide care that is thorough, evidence based, and compassionate. He helps his patients understand their care so that they are able to actively participate. And with every patient, Dr. Diaz focuses on providing the same type of care that he would personally want to receive.
During his free time, Dr. Diaz enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys playing soccer, biking, and other outdoor activities.
