Dr. Paley provides exceptional and comprehensive treatment to women stricken with gynecologic cancers with a compassionate and caring approach. She enjoys the long-term partnerships made with her patients, and considers herself privileged to be able to help women confronted with cancer.
She has also enjoyed her involvement in the Hereditary Cancer Program, identifying women at increased risk for cancer and educating them about risk reduction strategies. This has been a large part of her practice over the past 11 years. In addition, she and her partners were the first in the area to perform robotic-assisted, minimally invasive gynecologic cancer procedures, a treatment that speeds recovery and allows women to complete cancer treatments more quickly and with fewer side effects.
She met her husband, Jon Paley, who is also a local physician, while in training at Duke University. They have two children, to whom they devote much of their time. They enjoy a busy and active life, and spend much of their free time boating, traveling and skiing in British Columbia.
