Medical degree: Medical College of Ohio at Toledo Residency: Ohio State University Fellowship: Ohio State University, brain injury rehabilitation Board Certification: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Dr. Hettel is dedicated to improving the quality of life of her patients. Before coming to Providence she worked in general rehab for both in and outpatient at a private practice, PM&R, for 14 years. Dr. Hettel now focuses mainly on inpatient treatment, and serves as the Medical Director of Rehab Services at Providence. She enjoys working in a team setting with other rehab disciplines such as physical, occupational and speech therapies. In her free time, Dr. Hettel is the vocalist in a blues band and is involved in building a private commercial recording studio.
