Using harp and voice, Sacred Harmonies music gently creates an atmosphere of reverence and peace for patients and families.
Offered through Providence Regional's Spiritual Care Department, the bedside music of Sacred Harmonies soothes body and soul, offering patients a time for contemplation and deep rest. The music is tailored for each patient according to their respiration and medical condition.
Patient and family benefits
The music of Sacred Harmonies can help patients sleep, meditate, pray, or simply find a sense of peace. The soothing sound of the harp transcends language barriers and religious differences and benefits not only the patient but also family members.
Therapeutic harp visits may be requested for times of anxiety, physical or spiritual restlessness, sleeplessness, or discomfort. To request a harpist, call 425-261-4550.
