Safe Kids Snohomish County

 

The mission of Safe Kids Snohomish County is to prevent unintentional childhood injuries and to save young lives.

We strive to coordinate countywide efforts that increase community awareness through education, special events and distribution of protective equipment.

Safe Kids Snohomish County has proudly offered its services since 1999 through a partnership with Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

Car seat safety
You'll have peace of mind when you know your child's car seat is properly installed in your car.

Find a location to have your car seat checked for free (.PDF) at various Snohomish County locations including:

  • Marysville Fire Department
  • Fire District 1

  • Granite Falls Fire Department
  • Lake Stevens Fire Department

Bike and skate helmets

Education and safety presentations
Take a car seat safety class for new parents at Providence Pavilion for Women & Children. Call 425-304-6000 to enroll and get 2010 class dates.

Car seat awareness classes are also available for DSHS transporters, foster care parents and workers, social workers, medical staff, fire/EMS, police and other public service organizations. To register, contact shawneri.guzman@providence.org or call 425-258-7334.

School and other group presentations are available on car safety, pedestrian safety, drowning prevention, bike helmet safety, fire/burn prevention and more. Call 425-258-7334 to schedule a presentation or contact Shawneri.guzman@providence.org.
