Volunteer Services Overview

Volunteering at Providence
There are many reasons volunteers decide to join the Providence team.  Many of our volunteers are looking for new opportunities and experiences in the community. Others are planning for their future in the healthcare industry.

ALL of our volunteers have one common goal – they are here to give back to their community by helping others.

Volunteers are valued and appreciated for their dedication and commitment. It is this dedication that makes Providence a great hospital. In 2007, over 900 individuals in more than 80 departments, contributed over 100,000 hours of service at the Colby, Pacific, and Broadway campuses, the Healthcare Clinic, the Providence Physicians Clinics and
Camp Prov.

Opportunities for Volunteer Services
The Volunteer Services Department strives to meet the needs of volunteers, employees, visitors and guests.  Placement of volunteers is according to availability of the position, the particular interest of the applicant and the specific needs of the various departments.
