Not All Health Plans Are Alike

Other plans can't compare with Providence Health Plan when it comes to saving employees money in out-of-pocket costs. Why?

  • Our copays and coinsurance apply to out-of-pocket maximums.
  • We have no benefit caps on durable medical equipment, air ambulance, imaging and prescription coverage.
  • We have no absolute dollar limits on preventive care, except on HSA plans.
  • We have no absolute benefit limits on doctor visits and other routine services.
  • And with Providence Health Plans, there are no unexpected fees, such as per screenshot copays on MRI exams.

End-of-year credit

Employees benefit from fourth-quarter carry-over on deductibles with Providence Health Plan (excluding HSA by IRS rules). Even if employees meet their entire deductible in the fourth quarter, Providence credits them for the following year.

Deductible waived

On all our standard plans, we waive the deductible on the services that employees use most, including:

  • Office visits.
  • Periodic health exams.
  • Well-baby care.
  • Gynecological exams.
  • Routine immunizations and flu shots.
  • X-ray and lab services.
  • Diabetes supplies.
  • Prenatal and postnatal visits.
  • Urgent care services.
  • Emergency services.
