A tax-free way to save for routine care
Employees are eligible to set aside pre-tax dollars into a health savings account (HSA) with any of our HSA-Qualified plans. Benefits include:
- Interest earnings on tax-deferred savings, with year-to-year rollover.
- Tax-free distribution for qualified medical expenses.
- Funds available for eligible health, retirement or long-term care premium expenses.
- Financial stability with health savings accounts administered by U.S. Bank and benefits provided by Providence Health Plan.
- Low copays and no deductible on women’s health care services, periodic health exams and routine immunizations and flu shots.
A safety net for sudden health problems
Employees enjoy comprehensive benefits, similar to those offered by higher cost plans.
- Plans offered with a range of deductibles, from $1,500 to $5,000.
- Copays and coinsurance apply to out-of-pocket maximums.
- Deductible payments go toward the out-of-pocket maximum.
- See in-plan specialists without a referral.
- No benefit caps on durable medical equipment, air ambulance, imaging or prescription coverage.
- Usual, customary and reasonable (UCR) payment on out-of-plan services at the 90th percentile.
Not right for everyone?
Consider offering your employees a choice with an HSA-Qualified dual option plan. Employees can choose between our HSA-Qualified or a traditional Open Option plan.
Some eligibility requirements apply
- Employees must be under age 65 and not eligible for Medicare benefits.
- Employees must not have coverage under another health plan, such as a spouse's plan.
- Employees must not be claimed as a dependent on another person’s tax return.
