Hand Washing at Your Work Place
This is a busy time of year for many companies – and often one of the worst times to have multiple employees down with sniffles, sneezes, aches and pains. What can you do to keep everyone working at the top of their game? Encourage frequent hand washing.
15 seconds of hand scrubbing with soap and warm water can be one of the most effective ways to prevent colds and flu from traveling around the office. Busy at your desk without a sink nearby? If hands are not noticeably dirty, an alcohol-based sanitizing gel also works well.
The key is prevention. Raise awareness about the importance of frequent hand washing now – before it’s time to break out the tissues.
