New center showcases health care at its best

The completion of a three-story, 70,000-square-foot addition to the Providence Tanasbourne Health Center campus is the latest addition to Providence Health Plan’s nationwide network of more than 78,000 in-plan facilities and 4,000 in-plan hospitals.

The building showcases a new model for patient care that is gaining in popularity throughout Providence Health Plan’s network. By gathering a host of outpatient services under one roof, the center offers members greater convenience, more streamlined care, and enhanced coordination between primary care providers and specialists. Providence Health Plan members also can make an appointment to see a specialist without a referral.

Home to surgical specialists from the Surgery Center at Tanasbourne, the new expansion at the Tanasbourne health center offers a variety of procedures, including orthopedic and gynecological surgeries, general surgery and gastrointestinal procedures. It features four state-of-the-art operating rooms, two procedure rooms and a warm and inviting setting for patients and their families.

Best-in-market rates for Providence facilities
