Seniors rally to support Providence Medicare Plans
An outpouring of handwritten letters (more than 500 in all) arrived this month in response to a direct appeal to members from Providence Health Plans CEO Jack Friedman. Providence has been active in recent months working to safeguard affordable coverage for essential health care services for seniors in Oregon. Read Jack’s appeal to Medicare members (PDF).
Medicare costs have risen less in Oregon than in other parts of the country – in part due the success of companies such as Providence Health Plan that manage cost of care. Members told us how much they appreciate their easy access to doctors and high-quality benefits.
