Offered at no cost to all of our fully insured groups, Providence Health Balancesm is a complete, self-administered work-site wellness program designed to improve employee fitness by encouraging healthy behaviors. Employers already are putting the program to work in their companies using a variety of resources available at www.providence.org/php/wellness.
About Providence Health Balancesm
Recognizing that promoting healthy behavior is the single most important factor in improving employee health and reducing health care costs, Providence Health Plan has designed a program that is fun, effective and easy to use. Health benefits administrators can download a variety of posters, table tents, postcards and paycheck stuffers that encourage employees to begin improving their health and wellness online.
All employees of fully insured groups have access to online tools powered by WebMD, the nation's number one electronic wellness services provider, through the www.myProvidence.org portal. These include:
- A complete Health Risk Assessment
- An electronic Personal Health Record that keeps track of claims data
- Online health and wellness education resources
- Health Trackers to set individual goals and measure progress
Providence Health Plan's award-winning disease management program makes Health Balance unique. Employees can share their health risk assessment confidentially with Providence to become eligible for special programs that help them manage serious health risks and chronic health conditions.
