Ways to Give...
Recognize one moment, one person or one victory by making one gift to Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital Foundation. Gifts may be designated as unrestricted, targeted to a particular purpose or program, or directed towards an endowment. Your generosity will make a significant difference in our community.
Annual giving
Annual gifts are gifts of cash, credit card charges, appreciated securities (shares of stock or mutual funds) or other property. These gifts may be given each year to provide the hospital with immediate financial assistance. This is the easiest and most frequently used method of providing outright support to the Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Gifts in honor, gifts in memory
Gifts may be made in honor or memory of a loved one, friend or colleague, or to commemorate a special occasion.
Gift pledges
A pledge is a formal statement of intention to make a gift to Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital Foundation. The pledge allows you to make a gift during a period of three to five years.
Gifts of bequest
A gift of mention in a person's will is a way of providing for the future care of our community and is recognized immediately.
Gifts to endowment
An endowment is a fund that is set aside for a specific purpose. A gift to create an endowment demonstrates a longoterm commitment to the hospital and most often is "named" by the donor.
Planned gifts
There are a number of methods by which donors can make future gifts to the Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital Foundation. A planned gift maximizes your giving potential and can even allow you to ensure your future financial security or that of a loved one. Gifts can be made using cash, securities, bonds, real estate or personal property.
Gift of time and talent
Your gift of volunteerism is priceless. Giving your time and expertise toward building relationships within our community is one of the best gifts of all.
The new Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital
Our new addition will nearly double the square footage of the hospital. The current facility will be completely modernized - all with the needs of the patients, physicians, hospital staff and the environment in mind. This includes an expansion of emergency services, diagnostic imaging, the family birth center, surgical services, same-day surgery and construction of a new 10-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. The enhanced campus will help attract additional specialty physicians to our community, improve parking and way-finding for visitors, and feature separate patient and public spaces for confidentiality and patient safety.
