CLASSES SUPPORT AND EDUCATE PEOPLE WITH DIABETES

WHAT:
Living Well with Diabetes. A series of classes to educate and support men and women who have diabetes.

WHEN:
Series of monthly classes offered monthly - same topics for each series
     1) 1 to 3 p.m., March 11, 13, 18, 20
     2) 9 to 11 a.m., April 15, 17, 22, 24
     3) 5:50 to 7:30 p.m., May 13, 15, 20, 22

DETAILS:
Diabetes can affect almost every part of someone’s daily life. Experts say taking control of diabetes now will improve your health today and into the future. Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital diabetes educators and guest speakers will help you learn how to control diabetes through diet, exercise, stress management and medication.

Registration is required, and includes a one-hour private consultation. Insurance often covers the cost. Scholarships also are available. A referral by your physician or health care provider is required. To register call the Providence Diabetes Education Program at (541) 387-6379.
