PROVIDENCE COMMUNITY CAREGIVERS
OFFERS VOLUNTEER TRAINING SESSIONS

WHAT:
Faith in Action Providence Community Caregivers is offering training for those interested in becoming program volunteers. Faith in Action programs serve Hood River and Klickitat counties. To register, contact Jill Rowland at 541-387-6404.

WHEN:
Classes begin Thursday, March 26, 2009

DETAILS:
Volunteer Training - Faith in Action Providence Community Caregivers is looking for volunteers who can help aging or disabled people remain independent and able to stay in their own homes. Volunteers are welcomed from churches, synagogues, mosques, and other communities of faith and from the community at large. With volunteer assistance, members of the community who have long-term illnesses or disabilities can maintain their independence. There are four sessions, and the classes are free. Dinner will be provided.
