PROVIDENCE COMMUNITY CAREGIVERS
OFFER VOLUNTEER TRAINING

HOOD RIVER, Ore – Faith in Action Providence Community Caregivers is looking for volunteers who can help aging or disabled people remain independent and able to stay in their own homes. WHAT:
Faith in Action Providence Community Caregivers volunteer training

WHEN:
11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2008

WHERE:
Providence Brookside Manor, 1550 Brookside Drive, Hood River

DETAILS:
Volunteers are welcomed from churches, synagogues, mosques, and other communities of faith and from the community at large. Volunteers help with simple things, such as picking up groceries or providing a ride to the doctor. With this volunteer assistance, members of the community who have long-term illnesses or disabilities can maintain their independence for as long as possible.
