Local Doctor Talks About Surgical Weight Loss Options
People who are significantly overweight and have tried and failed at dieting and medical weight loss program are invited to a free talk given by local surgeon David Maccabee, MD, who is also a surgical weight loss (bariatric) specialist. The talk is set for Wednesday, May 23, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital's Education Center.
"If you have talked with your primary care provider, surgical weight loss may be an option for you," Dr. Maccabee says.
