Doctor Mendy Maccabee was born in Oregon and raised in the Northwest. She attended Washington State University for her undergraduate studies, and then medical school at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Following medical school she completed her Residency in Otolaryngology, Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon in 2003.
At the conclusion of her Resident training, she traveled to Dunedin, New Zealand where she completed a teaching fellowship in Rhinology (sinus and allergy management). She enjoyed teaching ENT residents, as well as in-depth training in medical and surgical management of sinus disease and allergy.
Doctor Mendy Maccabee and her husband Doctor David Maccabee have now settled in Hood River, Oregon where they enjoy professional and personal life.
