 | | About the Doctor Dr. Daniel Sager was born in Chicago and raised in Pakistan where his parents were Presbyterian medical missionaries. After high school in Ashland, Oregon he attended Lewis and Clark College in Portland for undergraduate studies and received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Following medical school, he completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico where he served as Chief Resident and was elected a member of Alpha Omega Alpha.
At the conclusion of his Resident training in 1990, Dr. Sager moved back to Portland where he completed a Fellowship in Rheumatology at Oregon Health and Sciences University. He is currently Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Oregon Health and Sciences University, a member of the Teaching Faculty for the Portland Program in Internal Medicine at Legacy Health Systems, and co-chair of the Oregon Arthritis Coalition. His professional interests include medical education and international health.
Dr. Sager joined Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital as a Rheumatologist in 1993 and lives in Hood River with his wife Julie and their three children. |
