Is Diabetes Changing Your View of Life?

 Our Program
If you are newly diagnosed with diabetes, struggling with management of your diabetes or just need an update on diabetes, we can help.
Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital Diabetes Education Program is an American Diabetes Association (ADA) accredited program and is available to anyone and their families diagnosed with type 1, type 2 or gestational diabetes. Pre-diabetes counseling is also available but may not be covered by your insurance.
We offer individual appointments and group classes, depending on your needs and insurance requirements. A physician referral is required. We can facilitate getting a referral from your doctor's office.
Group Classes offered are taught in 3 sessions and are approximately 2 ½ hours in length.

Health insurance often covers the cost of diabetes education and financial aid may be available.
