• Greatest Need/Unreimbursed Care - No patient is ever turned away based on limited finances.
• Children’s Programs – Our comprehensive children’s programs include Stepping Stones (pediatric hospice and palliative care), Safe Crossings (antipatory grief and bereavement program serving children in the community who have lost a loved one) and Camp ErinTM-King County (a weekend camp for children who have lost a loved one).
• Complementary Therapies - Services of non-medical therapies including massage, music, art, healing touch and aromatherapy.
• Patient Special Needs Program - Provides support for unique non-medical services and needs that are beyond the scope of traditional hospice reimbursement. Grants go directly to patients and their families who are struggling financially. • Transitions Program – Offers palliative, non-medical, volunteer and case management services to individuals with a life-limiting illness who are not, for a variety of reasons, currently receiving hospice care. • Grief & Bereavement Services - Providing care to more than 3,000 individuals and families throughout King County.
