Providence Hospice of Seattle

"It is only when we truly understand that we have a limited time on earth....
that we will then begin to live each day to the fullest,
as if it is the only one we had."

~ Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, MD

What is Hospice Care About?
Hospice care is about living. It’s about quality of life, personal choice and compassionate care. It’s about making the best of all our days, of the days we have left. It's about finding comfort and company and relieving suffering and pain. Hospice is about living life to the fullest.

What Makes Providence Hospice of Seattle Different?
We practice patient-centered care to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of adults, children and their families who are dealing with life-limiting and advanced illness. We have a rapid response time for swift admission to hospice services and an experienced, highly trained staff who are experts in pain control and symptom management. Our unique services also include an innovative care team model to best assist you and your family to maintain and enhance quality of life.

Providence Hospice of Seattle provides easy access to specialized pain and comfort treatments called "palliative care." If you have a life-limiting illness, you may be eligible to receive any medical treatment needed to relieve suffering and improve your quality of life. Our focus on patient-centered care allows hospice–eligible patients to receive palliative therapies for symptom management while utilizing hospice services. That’s palliative care—control of pain and other symptoms so you can enjoy quality time with loved ones.

Hospice Cares
As life unfolds, we tailor our services so that you can live each day to its fullest. Hospice can help improve quality of life for any age, with any life-limiting illness, whether in your home or your family’s, an adult family home, assisted living facility, nursing home, or even a hospital.

We invite you to browse our entire site to learn about the many services that Providence Hospice of Seattle has to offer you and your family.
