The Providence HUD Housing Ministry is a division of the Providence Health System. We own and manage 12 apartment buildings for the elderly and disabled. Our “Houses”, as we like to call them, are located in Seattle, Southwestern and Eastern Washington, Portland, Oregon and Oakland, California. Our Houses are designed for elderly and disabled people seeking independent living in an apartment setting. All of our Houses offer rent assistance through government subsidies from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
In our Houses we continuously strive to uphold and practice the mission and core values of the Providence Health System and Sisters of Providence: Respect, Justice, Compassion, Excellence and Stewardship. We are proud of our caring, compassionate staff and our beautifully maintained buildings.
