The heroes at Providence Holy Cross’ Trauma Center have saved the lives of thousands of people. When seconds mean the difference between life and death these are the heroes and the team you want by your side. Opened in 1984, the Trauma Program is recognized as the preeminent, community-based, nationally verified provider of trauma services in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, and Antelope Valleys.
The Holy Cross Trauma Team, consisting of a trauma surgeon, emergency physician, trauma nurse, respiratory therapist, as well as various staff from the nursing department, operating room, laboratory, and radiology, and spiritual care are on staff 24-hours a day seven days a week. In addition, this team has round the clock access to a full range of laboratory and diagnostic services, allowing seriously injured patients immediate access to critical care within a time frame that could save their lives. Our dedicated and hard working trauma work group, and all those who participate in the care for the injured patients, are continuously striving to improve the care that is offered. From initial evaluation to discharge, Providence and its team of heroes are who you want by your side.
