The Breastfeeding Support Group addresses all of your questions and concerns about breastfeeding, from initiation to problem solving. You'll discover a wealth of information to help you breastfeed your baby safely and comfortably. A certified lactation educator will teach you the ABC's of breastfeeding, with a special emphasis on making the transition from maternity leave to re-entry into the workplace. You'll feel more at ease about breastfeeding when you know exactly what to expect, and you will find the experience more rewarding. We encourage moms to bring in their infants so that the lactation consultant can help with any difficulties, weight the baby and moms can share experiences. Dads are welcome of course. Valencia Blvd., Santa Clarita Fridays, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Information and preparation ahead of time is essential to your experience. Expectant fathers or companions will learn how to provide support to new mothers in the early weeks. Breastfeeding support services are also available after delivery.
