For any company, community organization, place of worship or individual that can sign-up donors, we will be happy to help you host a drive. Your unselfish act would bring much joy and hope to those patients in need. As a member of the community, please join us in an effort to make this a better and caring place for everyone. Donating blood benefits both the recipient AND the donor. All donors receive a free "mini-physical", which can be an important first round in health prevention. During their Medical Screening, we check their pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and iron level - which could alert them to a health problem in which they were unaware.
We will provide everything from trained staff and equipment, to juice and cookies. All you need to do is have room and provide the donors! Actually, you don't even need a room; if you like, we can set aside a day or evening at our Donor Room for your use - or send out our BloodMobile! For more information, or to set up an appointment to discuss a Blood Drive, or to visit our facilities, please do not hesitate to contact:

or you can call the Blood Donor Center at (818) 847-4433. We look forward to working with you to create a mutually beneficial community service project.
The only "cost" to your organization is the time you allow for employees to donate. Typically, the entire blood donation process takes about 45 minutes.
Your organization benefits from this worthwhile opportunity in many ways. Overwhelmingly, employees from companies who host on-site blood drives say they value the opportunity to donate blood at work, and view it as a "benefit" their employers provide. By hosting blood drives, you as an employer:
- Provide your employees a convenient opportunity to perform a life-saving community service.
- Give employees another reason to value their relationship with their employer.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the health of the community.
- Help keep the cost of providing blood down, which helps keep the cost of health care down.
- Become a model for other organizations.
