Cervical Cancer

Your chances of successful treatment are better when cancer is found early.

Women should have regular Pap tests to find changes in the cervix before they turn into cancer. If you are 21 or older, talk with your doctor about how often you should have a Pap test. Most women have Pap tests every 1 to 3 years.

Through our state-of-the-art facilities and world-class, board-certified physicians, Providence Regional Cancer Centers offer a wide range of screening and early detection services, including our state-of-the-art Women’s Health Services. To determine which services are best for you, ask your personal physician or contact our Health Resource Center at 1-888-HEALING (1-888-432-5464) for a referral to a Providence-affiliated physician. Or you can find a cancer treatment specialist by searching our online physician directory.
