Your chances of successful treatment are better when cancer is found early.
The American Cancer Society recommends that at the time of menopause, all women should be informed about the risks and symptoms of endometrial cancer, and strongly encouraged to report any unexpected bleeding or spotting to their doctors. For certain high risk women, annual screening may be recommended with endometrial biopsy beginning at age 35.
Through our state-of-the-art facilities and world-class, board-certified physicians, Providence Regional Cancer Centers offer a wide range of screening and early detection services, including our state-of-the-art Women’s Health Services.
