Diabetes is a rapidly growing health problem and more than 20 million Americans are diagnosed with it.  Unfortunately, close to one third of them do not realize they have it.  Diabetes is a life-long condition that can be controlled with proper treatment to help you maintain a normal, healthy lifestyle.

Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is dedicated to helping you detect and control diabetes.  Our comprehensive diabetes screening program will provide you with an evaluation of whether or not you currently have diabetes as well as an assessment of your risk factors for developing diabetes in the future.  The Diabetes Wellness & Screening Program at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center includes:

• Complete Blood Count (CBC)
• Basic Metabolic Panel (BMP)
• Glycohemoglobin (HbA1c)
• Lipid Profile
• Consultation with a Certified Diabetes Educator (RN,RD)
• Referral to a primary care physician
