Program Founder: Daniel Eisenberg, MD, FACC

 

Daniel Eisenberg, MD, is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and has been practicing medicine since 1984. As a member of the Medical Staff at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Dr. Eisenberg is a cardiac interventionalist who serves as Medical Director of Cardiology and the Cardiovascular Disease Reversal Program, as well as Director of Cardiac Research. He is a past president of the American Heart Association in Los Angeles.

He received his medical education from Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Southern California Affiliated Hospitals.

For more than 25 years, Dr. Eisenberg has been involved in the study of cardiovascular disease and the effects of lipid lowering agents, and nutrition and exercise on atherosclerosis and heart disease reversal. He has authored numerous articles and books on the subject. It was this involvement that led Dr. Eisenberg to envision the Cardiovascular Disease Reversal Program, where patients are guided through the treatment process in a comprehensively coordinated fashion in order to optimize their care to treat, halt and reverse cardiovascular disease.
In addition to his work at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Dr. Eisenberg is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. He has three daughters and resides in the San Fernando Valley.
