Our therapy and rehabilitation programs work to maintain close communication between employees, physicians, and insurance companies to ensure quality service and a timely return to work for the injured person. Services include:
-
Workstart, one of Southern California’s most comprehensive work re-entry programs, uses objective measure to assess and rehabilitate individuals with injuries or disabilities that have prevented their return to work
-
Work Hardening, a program of gradually progressive, job-related activities intended to return the injured worker to a prior level of functioning
-
Physical therapy and rehabilitation services, including pain management, exercise, and education to avoid re-injury
-
Post-Hire Back Screen, an objective, non-discriminatory evaluation used to screen workers before they begin a job by assessing their flexibility, strength and back stability
-
Back School, an instructional program designed to educate workers regarding body mechanics and re-injury prevention
-
Hand Rehabilitation - Upper extremity injuries account for approximately one-third of the work-related injuries that occur each year. Our department is staffed by board-certified hand therapists with advanced specialty training to assist those recovering from upper extremity fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, and repetitive motion injuries.
-
Additional services, including repetitive injury prevention, work tolerance and work capacity evaluations, on-site job analysis, and ergonomic evaluation and education
