Treatment

 

Frequently, more than one treatment plan may be appropriate. Your physician’s recommendation may involve a combination or progression of the following:

  • Rest
  • Medication
  • Immobilization (cast, splint, sling, brace)
  • Activity Modifications
  • Therapy: Physical, Occupational or Rehabilitative
  • Orthotics
  • Exercise
  • Orthopedic Surgery, including Osteotomy, Arthrodesis (Joint Fusion), Primary Joint Replacements and Revisions
  • Minimally Invasive Orthopedic Procedures, including:
    • Carpal Tunnel Release (Endoscopic Technique)
    • Knee Replacement (Unicompartmental)
    • Hip Replacement
    • Arthroscopy for Most Joints 
    • Release of Joint Contractures
    • Arthroplasty for Joint Arthritis
    • Thermal Ablation of Benign Bone Tumors
    • Minimally Invasive Fixations, Decompression
    • Vertebroplasty or Kyphoplasty for Spinal Compression Fractures Caused by Osteoporosis
