The Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Providence Holy Cross and Saint Joseph Medical Centers, offers comprehensive rehabilitation services for patients who need intensive rehabilitation in a hospital setting. Both acute rehabilitation units have been nationally recognized with CARF Accreditation (Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) and have been recognized by HealthGrades® for exceptional clinical outcomes in stroke care.
Our rehabilitation programs provide therapy for patients with serious injuries, disabilities or conditions, as well as those who need to be stabilized medically. An interdisciplinary team of health care professionals works with both the patient and family to develop an individualized treatment plan. The goal of our program is to maximize the independence of our patients and return them to a safe and functional lifestyle.
