The Providence Guild
Frequently during your stay, you will meet the friendly volunteers who are members of the Providence Guild. You can identify Guild members easily by the peach or blue smock they wear. In addition to staffing the Gift Shop and Information Desk, Guild volunteers offer blood pressure checks, drive the Medivan, and provide more than a dozen other services helping both patients and staff.
Gift Shop
The Providence Guild Gift Shop is located in the lobby on the first floor. It is open daily and offers an assortment of gifts and items for your use. A choice of flower arrangements is also available. All profits from the Gift Shop and other Guild projects are donated to Providence Medford Medical Center to help support a variety of patient and community programs.
American Cancer Society Resource Center
Located in the Providence Cancer Center, the Library provides a comfortable and supportive place for anyone seeking information about cancer. Part reference room and part lending library, volunteers who have faced the challenge of cancer staff the library and are committed to helping you. For more information, please call 732-7004.
Providence House
Affordable on-campus lodging is available to out-of-town patients and their families when receiving medical treatment or staying near a family member who is in the hospital. Providence House offers eight, home-like suites, a large community room with full kitchen facilities, and utility room equipped with washers and dryers.
