MEDFORD, Ore (12/12/05) -- Providence Medical Group (PMG) is expanding its health care services by opening a new medical office at The Shoppes at Exit 24 in Phoenix, Oregon. PMG/Phoenix Family Practice is scheduled to open April 2006, and will be the new location for Providence family medicine physicians Eric Webb MD, Patrick Yeakey MD and Paul Jendre DO. Each physician will see an average of 20 patients daily and will offer laboratory services.
This geographic expansion of PMG will provide convenient access to health care for an underserved community in the Rogue Valley. “This area is in great need of local primary care physician services,” says Phoenix Mayor, Vicki E. Bear, RN. “This is an excellent opportunity for citizens to access quality health care within their community. As our population continues to grow in and around Phoenix, it helps round out the services that our community offers. It is very exciting and we welcome PMG to Phoenix.”
PMG/Phoenix Family Practice will occupy 4,800 square feet, joining the mall’s 18 specialty retailers.
“We are thrilled to be able to provide a location for Phoenix and Talent residents to receive great health care,” says Eric Jorgensen, Property Manager for The Shoppes at Exit 24. “Without a doubt, The Shoppes at Exit 24 is the place where people in southern Oregon can frequent to meet all their needs.”
Providence Medical Group is the largest group of primary and specialty care physicians in the region with offices located in Medford, Central Point, Jacksonville, Shady Cove, and now Phoenix. Health care services include internal medicine, family practice, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, and general and vascular surgery.
