The first few days after you return home can be an exciting, yet hectic time. To ensure you and your baby are doing well and adjusting to the many changes a new baby brings, we will call to see if you have any questions.
Lactation Program
Providence BirthPlace is proud to support your choice to breastfeed your newborn. An International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant is available to assist you with any problems. All staff nurses are trained in breastfeeding and can offer guidance and support during your breastfeeding experience.
Education
During your stay, you will be given educational materials with information that you need to know during your baby’s first year. We also offer many learning opportunities before, during and after your baby is born including prenatal, follow-up care and support groups. Call (541) 732-5494 for information.
Mom’s Group
Our Mom's Group is open to everyone. This is your opportunity to meet weekly with other moms and babies to share support, reassurance and experiences. Call (541) 732-6717 for meeting information.
Financial Assistance
If you are concerned about your ability to pay, please talk to us. Providence BirthPlace is open to all, and we can help no matter what your financial situation.
