Spiritual Care is integral to Providence's mission of compassionate care. The clinical Chaplaincy team consists of professionals who have engaged in academic preparations and clinical training for this specialized ministry of healing. The team works closely with all caregivers to offer a supportive presence to those who are ill, disabled, aging, dying, or in crisis.
The team offers holistic ministry assisting with spiritual, religious and emotional needs as well as ethical concerns. Catholic priests and sisters, Protestant ministers, and lay chaplains of various faiths are available 24-hours a day to provide for the spiritual needs of patients and families.
A chaplain or nurse will be happy to contact a minister or rabbi of your choice to help you meet your spiritual needs. Our chaplains provide spiritual support to those in need regardless of religious preference and respect the faith preferences of patients and families.
