The patient rooms in Providence Medford Medical Center's Critical Care Unit offer the most advanced technology including special features to ensure comfort and privacy. Because care in this unit is intensive, guidelines for family members and visitors differ somewhat from those in other nursing units.

Providence House
Affordable on-campus lodging is available for out-of-town patients and their families during medical treatment. Providence House offers eight, home-like suites, a large community room with full kitchen facilities and utility room equipped with washers and dryers. Call 541-732-5466 for more information and reservations.
Spiritual Care
Our chaplains are available for patients and family members to talk with, pray, console, comfort, and counsel 24-hours a day. Please feel free to ask a nurse or the Operator to page the chaplain for you. We also have an on-call Catholic priest to administer the sacrament of the sick. The chapel is located
on the third floor.
Financial Assistance
If you are concerned that you may be unable to pay for all or part of the medical care needed, we encourage you to talk with one of our case managers. Contact the Critical Care Unit charge nurse for assistance.
For Your Convenience
The Emilie Café is located on the ground floor of the hospital. Soup, cold sandwiches and snacks are available from 6:30 am-6:30 pm. Hot meals are served during the following hours:
Midnight - 2:00 am
6:30 - 10:00 am
11:00 am - 1:30 pm
4:30 - 6:30 pm
