Pain Management
"I've had pain from scoliosis and stenosis for about ten years and went to another clinic for my pain but didn't experience relief. I spent another year in pain. Then I saw the ad in the paper for Dr. Peterson's educational talk and I went to the class. That's where I heard about the Free Evaluation at the Providence Spine Clinic. I made an appointment and Tom, the nurse practitioner, referred me first to Dr. Trujillo for pain management. I had relief the next day and no pain during the procedure. Tom then referred me to physical therapy where I am learning how to strengthen my muscles without significant pain. It was like a miracle. I can do housework and cooking and don't have to sit down every five minutes because of back pain."

Surgery and Pain Management
"I've had scoliosis my whole life, but when I starting experiencing complete numbness in my lower body and was confined to a wheel chair, my primary doctor thought I should be seen at Providence Spine Program. After they did a full diagnostic work up, they found that a tumor was the primary cause of the numbness. I think the surgery that Dr. Bobek did was a miracle. Within a week, I went from the wheel chair to walking. I just finished physical therapy and am walking three-quarters of a mile every day. I just finished my second shot with Dr. Trujillo for pain management from the scoliosis and it is working. I am absolutely delighted. I am very thankful Providence is there. Everyone was awesome."

Physical Therapy
My family doctor referred me to the Providence Spine Program after he diagnosed me with arthritis and degenerative disk in my back. Tom, the spine program nurse practitioner, referred me to Providence Physical Therapy. I was very impressed with everyone including Nicole at the front desk. Physical therapy made a big difference because I learned how to help myself.
I worked with a wonderful physical therapist, who was very nice and easy to understand. She gave me lots of encouragement and showed me exercises to strengthen muscles to relieve pain. At first I was skeptical but it actually helped a lot.
