The Lifeline Program concentrates on helping seniors lead more independent lives by making help available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Participants wear a "personal help button" that activates a small, in-home unit. The unit dials the Lifeline Response Center and establishes two-way voice communication.
Over 250 Lifeline Response staff members monitor calls and respond by asking if help is needed 24/7.
Response Center staff determines appropriate help. A neighbor, loved one or emergency services professional may be asked to come to your assistance based on your specific needs
Lifeline Response Center staff will follow up to ensure that help did arrive
Equipment is maintained free-of-charge by Providence Senior Services
