Low-cost temporary accommodations for out-of-town patients and their familiesFor patients undergoing long-term medical treatment at Providence Medford Medical Center, or for their out-of-townfamily members who come to Medford to support them, the cost of overnight accommodations can be challenging. To help relieve the financial burden, Providence Medford Medical Center created low-cost temporary living accommodations for people who accompany out-of-town patients or who are here for on-going treatment.
Providence House is located on the medical center’s campus. It has eight suites, each with a living room, telephone, television/VCR, bedroom with twin beds and private bath. Most suites have sleeper sofas to accommodate additional family members. The four lower units are wheelchair accessible including an accessible shower. A community room is available to all guests and includes a full kitchen, sitting area, bathroom and laundry facilities. How to Request a Room To request a room, contact Providence Senior Services at (877) 541-0588 ext. 25466. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. We can make arrangements for a weekend check-in if you notify us in advance. If you find yourself at the medical center during a weekend due to an emergency, please ask the emergency department case manager about our “Room at the Inn” program. You may then contact Providence House on Monday morning.
Room requests may be made in advance if you are planning for surgery or treatment. Although we try to honor all room requests, due to the nature of medical circumstances, current guests may need to extend their stay and rooms may not be available.
Room Policies We are able to keep our rates affordable because we ask residents to be responsible for the upkeep of their own room and to clean their room prior to checking out.
We provide bed linens, towels, basic cookware, washer/dryer, detergent and cleaning supplies. You should bring personal items, toiletries, clothes and any food you may want to prepare for yourself. Grocery and other retail stores are within walking distance of Providence House.
Providence House does not allow smoking or pets. All guests must be able to care for themselves or have a caregiver with them to provide assistance.
Location Providence House is located at 799 Spring Street, Medford, Oregon on the Providence Medford Medical Center campus. Check-in for guest housing is adjacent to Providence House at Providence Senior Services office at 769 Spring Street.
