 Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Coast Mountain Range, Providence Seaside Hospital is the heart of the Providence Health System's North Coast Service Area.
Providence Seaside Hospital offers a continuum of healthcare from the our beautiful birthing suites, to the 22 bed Extended Care Facility located in the hospital building.
A critical access hospital, Providence Seaside serves a resort community and the surrounding area. In the summer, the population of the city of Seaside can swell from 5,600 to over 40,000 people. Providence Seaside Hospital has met the challenge with a state-of-the art emergency department, 24 hour-a-day in-house physician coverage, and extensive remodeling to meet the needs of our community and visitors.
With access to Providence Health System, and in concert with the physicians of Providence North Coast Clinic, Providence Seaside Hospital has a network of physician specialists who regularly come to the coast to see patients in areas including: oncology, dermatology, urology, rheumatology, and pulmonology.

- Health & Lifestyle Center: A health education and resource center providing health and wellness classes, educational forums, support groups and health screenings.
- Out Patient Diabetes Education Program: An out-patient diabetes education program taught by a multidisciplinary team including a registered nurse, certified diabetes educator, a registered dietitian and an exercise specialist.
- Providence Community Care: A volunteer staffed-low cost community health clinic.
- Occupational Health: Health Screenings, vaccination clinics and safety education designed for businesses.
- Extended Care Unit: Designed to meet the needs of elderly persons and of individuals transitioning from a hospital stay back to their own homes. The unit serves both short term and long term patients.
