Survey Results Show High Satisfaction

 

The results are in from the Providence ElderPlace Family Satisfaction Survey! Below are the responses to five of the questions, followed by comments from various participants.

  • 95 percent agreed that ElderPlace staff treats their family member with dignity and respect.
  • 96 percent agree that their family member's participation in Providence ElderPlace has been helpful to them.
  • 94 percent agreed that their family member is safe when in the care of Providence ElderPlace.
  • 95 percent agreed that their family member is receiving the services they were told that he/she would receive when enrolling.
  • 94 percent would recommend Providence ElderPlace to family and friends

When asked the question, "What do you like best about Providence ElderPlace and why?" participants responded with:

  • "It is such a godsend to have my father so taken care of and his medical needs taken care, including his doctor's appointments and transportation."
  • "Seniors are treated the way they deserve, with dignity and respect. They figured out what my mother's physical and mental difficulties were and fixed them. They continue to work with her."
  • "This is a truly comprehensive program - one stop shopping - as it were. My mother receives care from a team of professionals conversant with all facets of her life - and staff communicates with one another – AMAZING!"
  • "The kind, caring staff! It's wonderful that doctor, nurse, dental visits are taken care of so family does not have to make arrangements for appointments and transportation."
  • "The program provides care and oversight for my friend. She has personal contact with the staff and more interaction with professional people than she had before. Participation in ElderPlace is good for her and I'm thankful."
  • "My family members needs are all taken care of at one place with no separate bills or payments."
  • "I can live my life without worry."
  • "Comprehensive care. We are a distance away and we appreciate her transportation needs being handled by ElderPlace. Direct delivery of medications is also a help."
  • "All of her care is coordinated by the staff at ElderPlace. This includes her dental, eye, home health and all other health care. I also appreciate the fact that my mother is treated with respect and that we, her family, are kept well informed."
  • "Transportation provided; medications handled by ElderPlace;  involvement available; doctors all at one place; visits to participant at home when needed."
  • "The activity program and ongoing occupational therapy and physical therapy."
  • "Quality of care administered; even with all the problems my father has endured, you have always treated him with respect and dignity. Thank you."
